The Training Room
The Training Room NWI is locally, privately owned fitness studio and community room offering multiple workout and classroom options for all of Northwest Indiana. There is no membership required for The Training Room and there is always something happening to keep you involved, motivated, and active. In The Training Room we focus on continuous education, constant movement, and active recovery with a all-skill-levels-welcome approach to fitness and education. Just a few offerings include TRX training sessions, indoor spin class, yoga, CPR/AED certifications, and stretching/foam roller technique courses. TRX Suspension Training is a type of total-body resistance training that uses your own body weight and gravity, to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability, all while preventing injuries. Runners & Cyclists who only run or cycle are more prone to injury. TRX based strength training is a great way to become a more proficient runner or cyclist and help you to avoid injury. The classes operate in 8 week sessions with one class per week, with a fee of $160 per session.
TRX Classes (Cycling Edition)
The Cycling Edition of our TRX classes is a suspension training workout tailored specifically to increase strength and endurance in the muscles every cyclist uses on each and every ride.
The CPR training classes offered at The Training Room give you the information and the skills you need to help adults, children and infants during breathing and cardiac emergencies. We have certified CPR instructors to allow you to obtain your certification you may need for your job, or just for your own ability to help your loved ones in an emergency.
This course is limited at 6 participants and takes roughly 2 hours.
